Day 1 - Football in London

The English Premiere League is followed by football fans all over the world and two of its most famous and successful teams can be found in London. Exclusive guided tours of Chelsea’s ground at Stamford Bridge and the Arsenal Emirates Stadium will take you behind the scenes to areas normally reserved for players and officials. Both stadiums also have museums which guide you through the history of these incredible football clubs.

Day 2 - Henley-on-Thames

This picturesque Oxfordshire town is home to the famous Henley Regatta which was founded in 1839 and predates any national or international rowing organisation. The five-day extravaganza has been known as the Henley Royal Regatta since 1851 when Prince Albert became the event’s first royal patron. As well as taking a relaxing cruise along the beautiful stretch of the Thames upon which the annual regatta takes place, we will also visit the lauded River and Rowing Museum which is dedicated to the history of the sport and of Henley itself.

Day 3 - Oxford's Sporting History

Oxford University has a long and diverse history in sport counting over 150 Olympic medal-winners amongst its alumni. It was at Iffley Road in Oxford where Roger Bannister, who later became Master of Pembroke College, ran the first sub 4-minute mile. Oxford University RFC was founded in 1869 and is regarded as one of the oldest rugby clubs in the country. Rugby is still a huge part of life at Oxford University and we will honour this tradition by taking a guided tour of Brasenose College where William Webb Ellis, supposed founder of the sport, was a student. In honour of Oxford's renowned rowing team and the annual Oxbridge boat race, we'll head to the waters ourselves on a traditional punting trip.

Day 4 - A Racing Great

Travelling through the heart of the Cotswolds countryside we arrive at Cheltenham, the home of one of England’s most famous racecourses. If we are lucky enough to arrive on a race day we can get caught up in the excitement of the races. If not, there is still plenty to explore in Cheltenham and the surrounding area. Stanway House is an outstandingly beautiful Jacobean manor house which draws visitors for its wonderfully restored 18th century water-garden and boasts the highest fountain in the whole country. Whether cheering on the horses and jockeys at the racecourse or marvelling at the stunning design of Stanway, a day out in Cheltenham will not disappoint.

Day 5 - London - Home of Rugby and Cricket

Twickenham Stadium is the largest stadium in the world, purely devoted to rugby. Our exclusive guided tour takes you behind the scenes to visit the some of the most exciting and select areas of the Stadium. At Twickenham’s World Rugby Museum, we will discover a whole world of rugby and re-live some of the greatest rugby moments on interactive screens. This tour would not be complete without exploring the most English sport of all, cricket. In the heart of West London, right by the beautiful Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill is Lord’s Cricket Ground. After a tour of this iconic ground we will take a traditional afternoon tea in the stunning Long Room within the Pavilion.
