Kynren is back!

Last year the phenomenal first season of Kynren attracted over 100,000 visitors and this year it's back and better than ever. 

The incredible outdoor spectacular was a huge hit with visitors last summer and it's not hard to understand why: the theatrical performance, with a cast of over 2,000 volunteers, which includes action-packed scenes with trained horses and astonishing pyrotechnic displays, is bound to amaze any viewer. 

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Auckland Castle in County Durham, the award-winning live show takes the audince on a fascinating and exciting journey through 200 years of British history. 

Encompassing legend and folklore as well as fact, the drama begins in Roman times and travels all the way up to the Second World War, not missing Vikings and Tudors on the way, nor neglecting the intensity of the Industrial Revolution and the excitement of the Roaring Twenties. 

Kynren will be back in 2017 with 17 astounding open-air shows from 1st July to 16th September.
