Hainan Airlines increases service to Manchester

Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines has announced plans to increase the number of its direct flights between Manchester Airport and Beijing. The frequency of the service will increase from four flights per week to five flights per week as of 1st June 2017.
The route had its inaugural flight on 10th June 2016 and has been a popular addition for Hainan Airlines. Loic Gao, Hainan’s UK General Manager said: “As we approach our 1st year anniversary, an increased frequency is a wonderful way of celebrating such success”
The additional weekly flight is good news for Chinese visitors who have already been to London and wish to explore the UK outside of the capital.
Manchester is a fantastic base from which to visit England’s famous Lake District, the stunning North-East coastline and Hadrian’s Wall Country in Northumberland.
Scotland is also served by Manchester Airport and is a popular destination for visitors to the UK who are eager to see the historic capital of Edinburgh and experience the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
Stephen Turner, commercial director at Manchester Airport, has expressed his pleasure at the decision of Hainan Airlines to supplement their Manchester service, stating that the route has proved popular with both leisure and business travellers.
